Management Accountant

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are proud to be working in partnership with a successful service business in Rotherham as they look to recruit a commercially-minded part qualified Management Accountant.

As the Management Accountant you will be required to work closely with the Head of Finance and wider business to support with the full production of monthly management accounts including accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations and all relevant reporting.

This will be a varied role with duties will include:

* Production of Monthly Management Accounts
* Production of accurate 'flash' reporting (Monthly)
* Management of budgets and regular re-forecasting exercises
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Ad-hoc analysis projects
* Involvement in new sales tenders e. pricing and profitability analysis
* To assist with the year-end audit process
* Business partnering with other departments
* To play in a key role in the transition to new accounting software

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

* Part-Qualified ACCA or CIMA
* Minimum of 1-year experience being able to pull together a full set of accounts and take full ownership of a P&L
* Strong Excel skills
* Sage 200 Knowledge desirable
* Good stakeholder management experience
* Strong attention to detail
* Good business and commercial acumen
* Flexible work ethic
* Sound decision-making skills
