Elevation Finance and Accountancy are currently partnered with a well established business based in Sheffield to recruit a credit controller to join their close knit and friendly team. This role will be on an initial 6 month fixed term basis, with potential for extension or permanency.

Reporting into the Credit Manager, the duties of the Credit Controller will include (but not limited to):

* Managing a large ledger of SME and high value accounts; including full administration, order release as appropriate, query solving, debt chasing, reporting and establishing & maintaining a good communication channel and working relationship
* Ensure timely receipt of Invoices and PODs
* Ensure customers pay to agreed terms
* Provide Aged debt reports and Dispute reports
* Conduct ledger reviews with Managers
* Liaise with all depots to ensure quick resolution to queries
* Obtain Credit reports and provide initial assessment of Credit Applications in order to open new accounts
* Manage the Customer Data

As you will be responsible for independently managing a large ledger, you will bring the following experience:

- Experience managing large accounts
- Full understanding of the end to end credit process
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and administration experience
- Strong problem solving skills and initiative
- Strong Excel skills - including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPS
