FP&A Manager

Axon Moore are working on behalf of a fast paced, PE Backed organisation based in Manchester who are looking to make the addition of an FP&A Manager to their team as a result on internal promotions.

It is a fascinating time to join as the business is going through a transition post covid as they work closely with their invested PE backers to continue the rapid growth the organisation was facing prior to the pandemic. 

Working directly with the FP&A Director, this role will provide unrivalled exposure in the market when considering the PE exposure, full visibility of commercial finance, and supporting the FP&A Director in transforming commercial analysis and reporting to support the growth of this business.

Key responsibilities 

• Strong assessment of financial performance, including analysis and insight on business performance, and continual commercial and operation improvement.
• Adopt a finance partner approach to ensure the business has access to analytical support whenever required.
• Provide oversight of the Group’s financial and planning forecasting process. 
• Ensure key stakeholders have a complete understanding of actual and forecast financial and operation performance of the business.
• Co-ordinate delivery of an annual Business Plan and subsequent reforecasting. 
• Delivery of daily/ weekly and monthly KPI’s performance reports.
• Oversight of cost management and reporting.

 
Person specification

• ACA, CIMA or ACCA Qualified with a background in FP&A/ Commercial Finance.
• Strong communication skillset with a positive attitude.
• Ability to working in a fast paced, PE environment. 
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders, both in and out of finance.
• Resilient to change. 
• Advanced Excel skillset.
• Power BI experience is desirable but not essential.
