Accountancy Recruit is working with a large FMCG business based in Bury St Edmunds, recruiting for a Part Time Temporary Purchase Ledger Assistant to cover during a project to implement new processes. The temporary role will be for approx. 2 months. Hours: 20 hours per week over 3-4 days - £12 per hour. This will be a responsible role, involving transactional level accounts.
Duties will include:
- Purchase Ledger: inputting invoices, matching and allocating for authorisation - approx. 1000 per month.
- Preparing invoices for payment.
- Providing cover on the Sales Ledger: sending out invoices raised by the commercial team.
- Sending out statements, monthly.
- If time, there will also be the opportunity to get involved in reconciliation of historic accounts; matching payments against invoices; liaising with the Commercial Team to update of historic missed payments.
