An expanding and inquisitive group of companies based in the mid-Cheshire area has a requirement for a qualified Financial Accountant to join their welcoming and friendly finance team.
Reporting to the Head of Management Accountant & Commercial the duties and responsibilities will include:
- Prepare the management accounts for 2 subsidiary companies and all month end reporting, including balance sheet reconciliations.
- Run ad hoc debt and provision queries as requested, including provision revaluations, WIP & accrued income, write off reviews, etc.
- Complete the 2 subsidiary company's budgets, monthly forecasts and daily forecasts.
- Sign off subsidiary payrolls.
- Other ad hoc modelling to support Directors as required.
- Run corporation tax workings & forecasts for the Group.
- Complete statutory accounts for the Group, including going concern preparation and goodwill impairment reviews.
- Complete the corporation tax inputs for the year end corporation tax submissions to KPMG.
- Manage VAT for the Group.
- Be the technical point of contact for accounting queries across the group.
