A well-established PE backed Information Technology Services firm is looking to recruit an experienced Financial Modeller. You will be joining the finance team for an initial 6 months (possible to extend to 9-12months). This exciting opportunity is fully remote and outside IR35 (£500 - £700 p.d.) This position requires someone with exceptional attention to detail and well versed in Excel.

What you’ll be doing:

• Develop and improve the company’s financial processes, analysis and decision making
• Manage the upgrade and improvement of existing financial models with a view to continually improve templates and processes.
• Design a financial model and structure data for easy analysis and scenario planning for the next 5-10 years.
• Act as the main point of contact for all financial modelling across the company
• Performing ad hoc data analysis where necessary

What we are looking for:

• A minimum of 2/3years’ experience in financial modelling, data structuring and analysis
• Experience of modelling different financial structures, and able to manipulate and improve pre-existing financial models
• Exceptional ability to use Excel, understanding complex formula and able to navigate quickly through a complex model
• Well versed in other software such as SQL and VBA is desirable.
• Have extensive IT experience and held a role within this sector previously so you can get stuck in straight away with the project.
