Finance Manager required for PE Backed Insurance Broker - 3-6 months/T2P

Your new company
Your new company is a PE Backed Insurance Broking Group who have grown rapidly over the past few years, and being highly acquisitional continue to do so. They are about to go through some exciting strategic changes which you will get to be part of.

Your new role
Reporting into the Finance Director you will be coming in to assist with the statutory reporting for their complex group structure. This will be both the entities and consolidated accounts, so you will also get to be involved in the M&A accounting and integration of newly acquired businesses into their accounts. This is initially a contract role but there is scope for this person to go permanent and there are excellent progression opportunities in this large finance team.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant, as it's a newly created role, they are open to seeing candidates coming straight from audit (Ass Mgr/Mgr level) or ideally you will have a couple of years industry experience in a statutory/financial reporting role. They will also consider ACCA qualified candidates with a good working knowledge of statutory accounting. Insurance, M&A Accounting and consolidation experience will also be highly advantageous. But the main thing they want is somebody bright, dynamic and progressive to fit in with the rest of the team.

What you'll get in return
You will be working in business going through a lot of change so it will be a challenging role that requires somebody who is both technically competent but also able to work through change. The role will be initially 3-6 months but could go permanent. Rate will be £350-£400/day with some flexibility for the right candidate.
