Following an exciting period of growth, a leading accounting firm in Oxfordshire is looking for an Accounts Assistant.


Your new role

Despite lockdown, it is very much business as usual for our client. They have an ambitious growth plan and are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their Compliance division. This role will be based in their Oxford team and could be full time or part time. Flexible working is also available.

The main responsibilities are as follows:

• Preparing Accounts for SME's (predominately medical clients)
• Preparation of Corporate Tax Returns

What you'll need to succeed

You must have experience working in a UK accountancy practice. You will also have:

• Educated to A Level or equivalent
• AAT qualified or qualified by experience
• Medical practice experience would be an advantage
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong IT skills and able to pick up new software packages very quickly
• A positive, confident and proactive attitude
• Ability to prioritise and meet tight timeframes with high quality output
• Enjoy working as part of a team and self-motivated
• CCH experience would be an advantage
