Your new company

After an incredible period of growth, our South Oxfordshire based client is looking to recruit a Senior Accountant to their highly social and vibrant Frilford office. Our client is looking for a hard-working, fun-loving individual that will fit into their unique and ever-growing business.


Your new role

In this role, you will look after your own portfolio of clients, with support from a Junior. In addition, you shall support, drive and promote the business growth and liaise with new and existing clients. You'll review and sign off accounts, and prepare accounts for limited companies, partnerships, sole traders and charities. You'll also be responsible for the preparation of corporation tax returns and self-assessment tax returns. You'll also offer consultative services, supporting clients in accounting and taxation issues. You'll prepare management accounts, as well as supporting the company's brand.


What you'll need to succeed

You will be part or fully qualified, with support to finish your qualification if you have not yet done so. You'll have practice experience and a full UK driving licence. You'll be adept at working to deadlines and be able to prioritize your varied workload. You'll have excellent working knowledge of FRS102, FRS102 section 1a and FRS105. A self-starter with the ability to work independently is crucial. You'll also possess a solid understanding of tax, and be familiar with accounting IT packages (Excel, TaxCalc and Xero). You'll be a true team player who will engage with the social side of working life.
