This is a fantastic opportunity to join a Top 50 practice with offices throughout the south of England. They provide accounting, audit and taxation services to a wide variety of clients. They are committed to providing a friendly, personal service to their clients, and pride themselves in the longevity of their relationships. Our client is now looking for an experienced Management Accounting to join their growing team in Newbury.


Your new role

Key responsibilities of this role include:

• Preparation of management accounts and VAT returns.
• Preparation and presentation of management reporting, including analysis and interpretation of performance against key performance indicators.
• Assisting with the preparation of consolidated financial reporting packs.
• Working with clients implementing accounting systems and solutions.
• Supervising junior colleagues
• Responding to client queries on a range of issues

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience with Cloud accounting software and associated applications (Xero, QBO, Dext).
• ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified.
• Experience of working within an accountancy practice.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in what will be a client facing role.
• Experience of producing management accounts and supporting working papers.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage their time and work to tight deadlines.
