An established business are looking to strengthen their finance team by recruiting a Senior Finance Business Partner to join its expanding commercial team. You will partnering with the Commercial Director and Management team to provide financial insight to enable effective commercial decision making, in order to support the delivery of existing KPIs and to identify opportunities for future growth both through leveraging our existing portfolio and customer base and through involvement in business acquisitions.

Due to the complexity of the business they require someone who can switch from thinking strategically to support ambitious growth plans to providing detailed insights when summarising P&L performance.

This is a chance for someone to demonstrate their flexibility and tenacity alongside their ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders with often competing needs.
It also provides the opportunity to demonstrate effective leadership through the line management of an Assistant Financial Business Partner.

As Senior Finance Business Partner your role will involve:

• Financial business partnering; Full Balance Sheet and P&L responsibility
• Line management responsibility, acting as a guide and a mentor
• Preparation of budgets and forecasting
• Finance lead on business acquisition integration's
• Support the Commercial Director on full P&L reviews to the Executive board
• Implement new ways of working
• Comply with External reporting requirements
• Ad hoc project support; New business tender
• Support with stock management process
• New system roll-out and support
• Completion of month end procedures and relevant reporting
• Implementation and maintenance of processes and procedures to support the reporting and control of costs
• Ad hoc commercial reporting
• Lead and mentor the Assistant Finance Business Partner (CIMA Part Qual)

To apply for this role you must be:

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified
• An experienced Finance Business Partner ideally within the FMCG environment
• Analytical and inquiring
• Able to proactively challenge others and have your opinion heard
• A tenacious personality and are good at influencing people
• Thrive on working in a fast paced and constantly evolving environment
• Keen to develop talent within the team
