Accountancy Practice - Accounts Senior/ Accountant - Flexible Working offered - Southport

Your new firm
You will be working for a well established and highly regarded firm of chartered accountants based in Southport. This general practice work with a wide ranging client base and offer services such as accounts, tax, audit and payroll and they are now looking to appoint an additional accountant to their successful team and can be flexible depending on the level of experience the candidate has.

Your new role
As an Accounting professional at this firm you will be required to work with limited companies, sole traders and partnerships from industries such as manufacturing, retail and services to name but a few. Client turnovers range up to the £60Million mark and you will be responsible for the preparation of statutory accounts through to partner review and submission for them. Your role will also see you prepare both the corporation tax, VAT and occasionally assist with Bookkeeping and Payroll.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to undertake this role you must have had experience working in an accountancy practice previously and be able to work relatively autonomously when preparing statutory accounts; support can and will be given to those that require it. You will be a good user of various accounting systems such as Xero and IRIS and be able to communicate well with both colleagues and clients as you may be required to demonstrate systems to clients.
