Your new firm
A global network of Chartered Accountants are looking to grow their UK offering with an expansion out of their London office, establishing a team in Manchester. With this growth plan, the firm are looking to appoint an experienced and ambitious Audit Assistant Manager who can work closely with the partner to manage and deliver audit services to their clients based in the North. This firm specialise in providing professional services to growing number of UK and Chinese companies with subsidiaries in the UK.

Your new role
As an Audit Assistant Manager you will be allocated a portfolio of clients for which you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering the audit assignments for. You will have the support of junior staff who will deliver on site audit work however you will be involved in planning through to completion. Your client base is varied across a range of business sectors with turnovers up to 100 million however they specialise in servicing Chinese clients including local companies and also UK subsidiaries of Chinese companies.

Initially you will work remotely and also out on client site but over time the firm would like to open Manchester offices and you will take a lead in the development of the Manchester team and client base. This is an excellent and unique opportunity to work with the senior partnership team on their growth plans.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant who has gained post qualified experience leading and ideally managing audit assignments. You must be comfortable in delivering audits in accordance with UK GAAP and ideally IFRS legislation. The firm are seeking a hard working individual who can work autonomously and have a proven track record of delivering audit assignments. Language skills are not necessary for this role but if you do speak Cantonese or Mandarin it would be advantageous.
