Finance Business Partner / Permanent role / Manchester City Centre / £35,000 - £45,000 plus a competitive benefits package.

Accountable Recruitment have the pleasure of exclusively supporting our high-growth, prestigious client with the recruitment of an ambitious and highly driven Finance Business Partner to join their team.

Due to continued growth our client have a newly created role available for an experienced management accountant who is now looking to develop into a Finance Business Partnering role. This role would suit a Nearly/Newly Qualified CIMA/ACCA candidate who is ambitious and looking for an environment they can progress!

In this varied role you will be working amongst and experienced finance team where you will be responsible for working closely with your key business area (Marketing Department) to manage budgets, drive insights and provide commercial analysis to support business growth. It will be your responsibility to really underneath the figures and you will play a lead role in understanding variances and the reasons behind these.

You will work closely with your business area to support, influence and challenge. You will play a lead role in developing KPI's and improving reporting to help the business track business performance.

You will support the wider team with month-end accounts preparation where needed, however this will not be the main focus of your role. As the business grows and develops you will also have the opportunity to manage more junior team members, supporting with training and mentoring throughout their professional qualifications.

Key skills:

  • Commercially minded, ambitious and highly-driven!
  • Ideally you will be Part or Fully Qualified, CIMA/ACCA
  • Previous experience working within a management accounts or finance business partnering role
  • Strong communication skills -comfortable liaising with non-financial stakeholders to work together to drive improvements
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills are essential
