Senior Project Accountant - Temp or Temp 2 Perm

This is an outstanding opportunity for a Qualified Accountant with significant Project Accounting experience to join my PE backed client in a newly created role.

Reporting to the Business Managing Director and the Group CFO, the Senior Project Accountant is an very exciting opportunity.

This role sits within the construction arm of the business and is vital in ensuring that all construction project budgets are achieved and on time.

The business is looking for a very analytical Project Accountant with an eye to the ground who can get a deep understanding of a specific budget and manage the finances from end to end with high level reporting in between.

You will be a trusted advisor to the Stakeholders on the ground and the CFO back at Group.

This role will suit someone from a construction, civil engineering, manufacturing etc background who has worked on specific end to end projects.
This is not your typical Finance Manager, monthly reporting role!

Profile

You will be a qualified Accountant with CIMA, ACCA or ACA

YOU MUST HAVE SPECIFIC PROJECT ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE.
This is mot a typical Finance manager role completing the accoounts monthly. You will be on the ground working with stakeholders, challenging and advisng on a daily basis.

You will have excellent stakeholder engagement skills.

You will have Excellent analytical skills.

You will be able to challenge stakeholders and get buy in from them.

Job Offer

An initial 3 mointh temp assignment whilst a perm role is being recruited or a T2P opportunity for the right person.

Hybrid working - You will need to be able to get to Cardiff.

Salary c£200 - £300 (but this could be more for the roight person)

** The perm salary for the role is c£50,000 + car Allowance
