Your new firm
A reputable independent firm of Chartered Accountants based on the outskirts of Liverpool are looking to appoint a Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA) to join the team as an Accounts Senior. This opportunity has arisen due to staff movements and a host of new client wins and is a great opportunity for a newly qualified accountant looking to gain more autonomy and develop their supervisory skills. The firm will consider either full time or part time working hours of 28 hours or more.
Your new role
As an Accounts Senior you will work with a varied portfolio of SMEs, limited companies, contractors, sole traders and partnerships. Day to day duties will include the preparation of statutory accounts, corporation tax computations, VAT work and ad hoc management accounts work. You will work alongside the other qualified accountants to help mentor and support the junior members of the team.
What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant who has a solid grounding working in a general practice. You must be comfortable delivering accounts and tax compliance to a range of clients and be comfortable liaising with both clients and junior members of the team. The firm will consider flexible working arrangements and both part time or full time hours of 28 hours or more.
