Seeking a qualified accountant to join a regional firm of Chartered Accountants in their Lancaster office

Your new firm
This highly regarded regional firm of Chartered Accountants with offices across the North West region are currently looking to appoint an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant or finalist to join their Lancaster office as an Audit & Accounts Senior. This is a newly created job opportunity to assist with the delivery of work in the corporate services team.

Your new role
As an Audit & Accounts Senior you will be responsible for delivering both audit and accounting assignments to a range of OMBs,UK subsidiaries and large limited companies and groups in and around the Lancaster & South Lakes region.

This is an autonomous role whereby you will be responsible for managing your own targets, budgets and billing. You will liaise with the Partners to organise the workforce plan, delegate work to junior staff ensuring all deadlines are met and attend pre completion meetings with the partners. Over time you will progress into a supervisory role which will allow you to further develop your managerial skill set.

What you'll need to succeed
The partners are seeking a practice trained qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA) who is able to demonstrate prior experience of undertaking both audit and accounting assignments, ideally with audit senior experience. You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, a strong commercial acumen and a positive solutions focused attitude. Experience of CCH software would be beneficial.
