Axon Moore are working on behalf of a global, and market leading organisation based in Manchester who are looking to add a Commercial Finance Manager to their team.
The role itself is highly autonomous, whilst having excellent support and mentorship through a high calibre Financial Controller. The position will also have a direct report who will provide transactional and day to day finance support for your portfolio of work.
This is a broad role that provides unrivalled access the full finance remit of a dynamic, energetic, and growing team.
Responsibilities
• Provide an effective business partner service to budget holders by supporting them in financial decision making, promoting good financial management, accountability, and efficiency
• Compile and provide accurate and timely monthly management accounts including P&L, cashflow, variance analysis to budget and forecast to heads of functions, senior management, and group.
• Responsible for Head office recharges to sites and intercompany within group
• Compile and provide accurate and timely quarterly reports to Heads of Departments and other budget holders.
• Prepare the annual budgets in conjunction with relevant external and internal stakeholders, produce quarterly reforecasts and provide support to budget holders throughout the process
• Work closely and form effective working relationships with the key representatives from Heads of Department, Head of Commercial Accounting & Reporting, Accounts Payable Manager, Treasury and Tax Manager
• Look to continuously improve the budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting processes along with those associated with JV reporting.
Person Specification
• ACA, CIMA or ACCA Qualified.
• Experience working a month end process, as well as finance business partnering is essential.
• Excellent attitude and commitment to work.
• Advanced Excel skillset.
• Demonstratable leadership/ mentorship skills.
