My client is a rapidly growing, Private Equity backed organisation looking to bring in a Finance Manager to partner alongside the Group Financial Controller, Senior Management Team and Private Equity Partners.

Key Responsibilities
- Producing monthly management accounts and month end packs for the two new acquisitions.
- Preparation of monthly financial reports and providing analysis on the management accounts (P&L and balance sheet).
- Assisting in the consolidation of the group consolidated management accounts.
- Ensuring that all Balance sheet Reconciliations are performed monthly for the two entities.
- Overseeing weekly payment runs, high volume transactions; invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable within the business.
- Responsibilities for the reporting line of the bookkeeper, day to day management & development.
- Preparation and submission of the VAT returns.
- Assisting in the preparation of a rolling 13-week cash forecast.
- Assisting the Group FC with the implementation of the new accounting system (currently running on Sage 50 and replacement of this system will be a focus in 2022).
- Maintaining procedures manual for the subsidiaries and working with the wider Finance team who are responsible for AP & AR.
- Reviewing and improve all finance processes and implementing 'best practice' procedures and building a strong robust control environment which if fit for purpose.
- Liaise with different departments and develop relationships with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure the Accounts department is properly supporting the needs of the operating businesses.
- Supporting transactional staff (AP & AR) during busy periods / covering staff annual leave.
- Assisting with budgeting and FP&A projects with exposure to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Producing the year end and statutory accounts and corporation tax returns.
- Liaising with external auditors - processing year end schedules and analysis as required.
- Assist the Financial Controller and the wider business with ad-hoc tasks as and when they arise.
- ACA/ CIMA or ACCA Qualified.
- Good understanding of accounting standards.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyse and solve problems.
- Able to work to strict deadlines.
- Confident individual with a good work ethic.
- Have a desire to be part of a fast paced, entrepreneurial run business.
- Excellent Excel skillset.
