Resourcery Group are supporting a business services company to bring on board an Interim Group Finance Manager whilst they hire and on board a permanent long term solution (maybe a temp to perm option). You will be joining a company that has delivered year on year growth and working with a finance leadership team who are keen to invest in their people. This is a well rounded role whereby you can genuinely bring new ideas to the table and be part of driving the finance department forwards.

The Group Finance Manager's role: 

  • The lead, manage and mentor a small team of finance people
  • Manage and review the month end reporting process and adhering to the month end close timetable
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ensuring that the internal controls are strong and robust
  • Process improvements - ideas and delivery
  • Year end preparation and schedules production
  • VAT returns are prepared for Group
  • Providing full and accurate information the Group Tax and Technical Accounting team 
  • Supporting the Group Financial Controller with ad hoc duties

The ideal applicant:

  • A fully qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Be able to lead and manage a team
  • Manage and prioritise tasks
  • Strong communication skills
  • Be able to interrogate volumes of data
