They are currently looking for an Assurance Compliance Manager to join their team. The main purpose of this role is to ensure the maintenance and ongoing refinement of a risk-based compliance assurance programme, maintaining a compliance framework and advising the business of its regulatory responsibilities.
What you will be doing:
- Maintaining a system to provide assurance on group compliance with all statutory, legal and regulatory requirements
- Proactively keeping up to date with legislative, regulatory and other changes, ensuring that bpha practice develops accordingly and documentation is updated as required
- Overseeing the register of regulatory and corporate returns
- Maintaining a comprehensive risk-based compliance and assurance programme
- Undertaking compliance monitoring exercises

Providing regular reporting on assurance activities undertaken

Tracking, monitoring and reporting on agreed actions stemming from assurance work

Playing a key role in supporting the Audit and Risk Committee in developing it’s internal audit plan

- The ability to work effectively with and influence a range of stakeholders
- The ability to advise on business improvements from assurance and compliance activity
- Demonstrable knowledge of applicable legal and regulatory requirements
- Experience of managing internal control frameworks and delivering improvement outcomes
- The ability to plan high workloads, set priorities and work well under pressure
- The ability to champion and promote new ideas in relation to assurance and compliance within the business
