Finance Business Partner
Cheshire | Up to £65,000
The largest division of a £3bn market cap global market-leading business – which is listed on the UK Stock Exchange – is searching for a commercially-aware Finance Business Partner. Joining the business on a full-time, permanent contract, the Commercial Finance Business Partner will work out of Cheshire office, though home-based and flexible working arrangements are available.
The Role
Reporting to the EMEA Finance Director, the Finance Business Partner will be expected to handle these responsibilities:
- Delivering innovative, high value financial information and insight to the management team, to support operational and strategic decision making.
- Building and maintaining strong business partnering relationships with management and commercial teams.
- Developing robust planning models, with regard to budgeting, forecasting, and weekly flash.
- Developing appropriate metrics and KPIs for the business to measure growth, profitability, expense control, efficiency, and productivity.
- Enhancing business intelligence capabilities and processes through automation.
The Ideal Candidate
To be considered for this position, the Finance Business Partner should have:
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to make decisions and handle multiple projects at once.
- Experience supporting analysis and reporting.
- A keen attention to detail, with proven follow-up skills, and the ability to understand and translate business strategy into tactical objectives.
- Strong modelling skills, including advanced Excel abilities and experience with Power BI and Cognos (or similar systems) for the analysis of large data sets.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness and availability to travel both domestically and internationally.
The Offer
The successful Finance Business Partner will be offered a salary in the region of £65,000 per annum, coupled with a bonus of up to 10%.
