Our client, a prestigious financial services firm is seeking to appoint a Financial Accountant with responsibility for inputs to the production of entity & consolidated statutory financial statements. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to gain broad exposure to accounting finance within the Finance function of a leading financial services firm which is well positioned for future growth.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role will be responsible for income accruals; ledger reconciliations; bank reconciliations; and bank postings with broad exposure to the business. You will also support tax and audit queries whilst assisting Finance & business stakeholders with ad hoc analyses & investigations.
The successful candidate will be part/newly qualified (AAT, ACA, ACCA or CIMA), preferably with experience in Accounting Operations or Shared Service Centre environments within process led firms. You will have an understanding of ERP systems. You should also be a willing and collaborative team player, ambitious and driven, with a positive can-do attitude.
