Management Accountant

Role Summary

A leading Professional Services Business are looking to strengthen their Finance Department with the addition of a Management Accountant. This is a new which will report directly to the Finance Director and help drive the ambitious growth of the Company.

Main Responsibilities Of Management Accountant

• Financial Reporting including production of monthly Management Accounts
• Bank and Balance sheet Reconciliation
• Financial Analysis to help drive decisions.
• Cashflow monitoring
• Ownership and Maintenance of Sales Invoice reporting Document.
• Forecasting
• HMRC Reporting including VAT and PSA
• Annual Audit
• Working with the FD to produce the Annual Budget
• Adhoc projects and tasks as requested by FD.
• Adhoc reporting for wider business including Exec Board and Head of Divisions.

  The Candidate for Management Accountant

At least 2 years’ experience in a Management Accounting role

CIMA/ACCA/ACA/QBE or PQ

Motivated, takes ownership of their work and shows initiative

Ability and passion to work with a team to encourage and drive efficiencies.

Strong Excel skills- (Lookups, experience of financial model building)

Commercially minded.

Desire to progress and be seen as an emerging leader.

Ability to working in a changing yet professional environment

Ability to communicate clearly and explain reports to non-finance colleagues.

High attention to detail
