Financial Reporting Manager

I am supporting a client based in the Reading region that is looking to recruit a qualified accountant into a newly created Financial Accounting Manager role.

The role will report to the Group FC and manage a small team and take the lead on all aspects of balance sheet reporting, intercompany reconciliations and controls. The main focus will be taking responsibility for leading the month-end, supporting the team with the hands-on aspects of the routines, but also taking responsibility for the more complex issues, improving processes and implementing new procedures. You will also be the main POC for all audits and queries.

Duties include:

Intercompany reconciliationsReporting all costs including payroll and fixed assetsManaging the balance sheetTraining and developing the team membersImproving processes and procedures

The successful candidate will be qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) and have worked in complex, multi-entity environments. They will enjoy the hands-on aspects of managing the balance sheets, but also have the ability to work with the wider business, improve systems and processes and manage relationships with various stakeholders including the external auditors.
