Heyland Recruitment are working alongside this market leading international design and manufacturing organisation as they look to recruit a part qualified Finance Analyst into their growing finance team. This company is one of the largest within their industry supplying to a diverse range of sectors with offices based in several locations across the world and the Finance Analyst will join their finance team to provide key support to the Finance Manager with key monthly management accounts and analytical tasks. If you are an active AAT/ACCA/CIMA studier looking for a new challenge with an opportunity to progress and develop professionally, this role offers an ability to gain some key experience within a fast moving and exciting industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monthly payroll processing and complete ownership, including overtime, journal postings, monthly reconciliations to ledgers and involvement in data collection for the purposes of P11D and PSA submission.
* Petty cash reconciliation and process ownership
* Expenses and corporate Credit cards process ownership
* VAT return preparation with support from Finance Manager for all UK divisions along with reconciliation of deferment account
* Parent company month end ownership and other month end responsibilities
* Admin/Internal controls compliance tasks
* Work with the Finance Manager to follow up implementation of new internal controls/ and ensure sign offs and controls are being adhered to by the company.
* Various other month end tasks as required
* Assisting the Finance manager with coordination of the team and data requests for internal and external audits.
* Potential assistance in new software implementation
* Helping prepare the statutory accounts for other companies within the group
* Various other tasks as required
Required Attributes / Experience
* AAT qualified / ACCA or CIMA studier
* Previous experience within a busy finance function
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Conscientious and able to work on own initiative
* Able to work to deadlines
