Your new firm
This is a highly regarded and well established firm of Chartered Accountants who have an excellent pedigree. Having been established for over 10 years, they have developed a client base that spans a wide range of industries and varying complexity of businesses. The firm have seen organic growth every year since inception and this coupled with recent acquisitions is prompting the need for an additional Portfolio Manager to join the team and help lead from the front.

Your new role
As a Portfolio Manager with this firm, you will be responsible for managing a proportion of the firms clients; tasks involved in this will include statutory accounts preparation, delegation and review of work from junior team members, some management accounts work and strategic planning and advice. Your work will also encompass client billings and time sheets as well as the occasional fee negotiation when required.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to undertake this role you must have worked within an accountancy practice and be ACA/ ACCA qualified. Prior experience of managing a client portfolio will be looked upon favourably and you should be able to liaise confidently with both clients and colleagues alike. Experience of using a variety of cloud based accounting systems will be helpful. Up to date knowledge of UK tax legislation in regards to both personal and corporate tax returns is essential.
