Interim Head of Finance

My client, an international corporate within the business services sector requires an interim Head of Finance while we recruit a longer term replacement. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established global business in the next stage of their growth.

The role is part of the senior leadership team and as such will be responsible for driving team performance across five direct reports. You will also have responsibility for reporting under IFRS, managing internal and external relationships and leading on continuous process improvement projects. As this is a leadership role you will be expected to train, mentor and recruit team members and demonstrate your ability to improve performance through effective coaching.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with significant leadership experience. You will also have substantial statutory accounting experience and a demonstrable track record in coaching and developing staff. Strong critical thinking, planning and organisational skills and a must. Finally, we require an individual who has worked with SAP S/4hana previously, this is a non negotiable requirement.

Although advertised as a fixed term contract we can also review candidates who are looking to work on a day rate basis (inside IR35).
