An organisation which are going through a large-scale transformation project is looking for a Management Accountant to join their team to help round off its final stages. Initially, the role will be a 6-month Fixed Term Contract paying up to £44,000 with generous benefits. Working from home is also welcomed.

It is a newly created position and will have the possibility to go permanent dependent on your performance.

The office is located in a spacious area of South-East London and the team are friendly, collaborative and vibrant!

Your role

  • Responsible for preparing monthly management accounts
  • Communicating with stakeholders and presenting key information
  • Forecasting, analysing and working with the planning and statistics team
  • Maintaining and updating the budget and forecasts spreadsheets
  • Engaging with the Finance and Planning team
  • Reconciliation of complex data sets

Key Skills & Qualifications

You will need to be a Finalist or Newly Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with management accounting experience from industry. Ideally you will have experience or similar within Marketing, Higher Education, Retail, or fast-fashion.

  • Finalist or Newly Qualified ACCA or CIMA
  • Finance or accounting degree (or similar)
  • Management accountant experience
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong Excel skills and understanding of financial modelling

You will also be a confident communicator who is able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and have a can-do attitude.
