Transactional Finance Manager- 12 month FTC

Hays are currently looking to recruit an interim Transactional Finance Manager for 12 months

Your new company
This listed manufacturing business with plants across the UK and internationally are a large employer across Bristol and are currently in need of a Transactional Finance Manager for a period of 12 months, ideally to start early 2022.

Your new role
Reporting into the Finance Director, the business are looking for someone to manage the large finance team of around 30 people. This finance team provides a variety of services to 7 different plans across Europe and the team is responsible for full transactional processing of all the UK sites. A large part of his role is team management, developing and managing the teams that cover AP, Cash & Banking, General Ledger and technical accounting. Other key elements include, general reporting and compliance, operational and day to day maintenance but also continuous improvement.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally the client would like a qualified finance professional with experience successfully managing and developing a large finance team. In addition you should have good stakeholder engagement, and be able to demonstrate strong attention to detail.


What you'll get in return
This role is being offered as a 12 month FTC but does have the potential to go perm. The client is offering a competitive salary along with a 10% completion bonus on finishing the contract.
