Financial Accountant

Gleeson Finance are working with this growing SME in South Warwickshire, to recruit an ambitious and progressive Accountant, who is looking to join a rapidly growing, market leading business. The ideal candidate will have experience of international accounts, and be a confident communicator and business partner.

As the Accountant, you will produce monthly accounts, budgets and forecasts whilst ensuring the accounting policies comply with the relevant standards. You will develop systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective management of the finances whilst liaising with external auditors to assist on accounts preparation and compliance. Other duties include, the monthly consolidation, including group reporting, statutory financial statements, VAT, consolidating forecasts and annual budget and managing/coordinating with external auditors on the annual audit process. You will liaise with the tax advisors to ensure completion of corporate tax returns and quarterly instalment payments, whilst managing the cash position of the group through accurate tracking and forecasting.

The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience within a technical environment and group international finance experience. This role is ideally suited to an individual who demonstrates not only sound technical and systems skills but also excellent communication skills and a flexible proactive approach. You will ideally be be a fully qualified accountant or finalist, but QBE will also be considered.

In return, you will receive a salary of Circa £40,000 - £50,000, plus benefits, including pension, free on-site parking, 26 days holiday plus career progression.
