My client is a market leader in its field with a reputation for product quality and service excellence. The business is experiencing extraordinary growth and the need has arisen to recruit a highly competent Finance lead supporting the Managing Director and wider Executive management team.
About the Role
You will take responsibility for all aspects of financial reporting in addition to providing critical financial insight to the future growth and success of the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Production and continued improvement of the monthly management accounts pack.
- Production and analysis of P&L, Balance sheet, KPI, s and cashflow forecasting.
- Financial management of key business projects and improvement initiatives.
- Maintain appropriate documentation of finance processes and accounting policies and ensure compliance with key controls.
- Management of 3rd party relationships banks, legal advisors and external accountants.
- Review and recommendation of finance, lease and service agreements.
- Support annual audit process by liaison with external auditors.
- Management and oversight of Credit Control function.
- Broad responsibility for ensuring correct utilization of ERP System.
- Undertake ad-hoc projects as required by the Managing Director specifically around business strategy, planning and financial forecasts.
- Enhance existing controls, processes and procedures system reports and develop reports to improve reliability and accuracy.
- Provide commercial financial analysis support to the Management team which will include product pricing and profitability and business planning.
Candidate Profile
Part/Qualified ACA CIMA or ACCA or QBE you will have the ability to convey financial information to non-finance managers in a confident and persuasive manner. You will have proven analytical and reporting skills through advanced knowledge of Microsoft excel in addition to possessing excellent organisational and time management skills as well as attention to detail. You will have a professional and mature approach with the interpersonal skills to positively influence at all levels of management.
