Financial Controller/Projects

Your new company
Our client, a successful engineering/fabrication business and part of a larger Group, is looking to recruit to the job of Financial Controller, to be based at it's site in Immingham, North East Lincolnshire.

Your new role
Reporting into Group finance, you will be the number one in finance for the Immingham site tasked with the financial responsibility of a number of key customer projects. Duties will include; Project Analysis and Reporting, liaising with Project Managers to review project performance, final outturn and ongoing invoicing milestones, management of credit control and cash flow forecasting, sales invoicing, applications and project valuations. You should also be able to understand the impact of costing and delivery and in turn drive improvements where possible ensuring Project Managers take ownership and accountability of project performance.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Accountant, not necessarily qualified but have a track record of monitoring projects, producing management accounts and managing cash. You must be a strong communicator, able to handle and forge good relationships with customers and take control of the internal command and control environment.
