FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT | Manchester City Centre | £42,000 - £47,000 + Benefits | Legal Sector
PURPOSE OF THE FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
Responsible for provision of financial information, implementing controls and financial reporting for a Manchester City Centre based Law Firm.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Reporting directly into the Finance Director, you will be expected to fulfil the following duties:-
- Preparation of timely and accurate monthly financial reports
- Preparation of Partner's capital account reconciliations
- Cash flow forecasting and analysis
- Support with the annual budgeting process and associated analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Coordination of the Year-End Audit with the external auditors
- Assisting the FD on ad-hoc projects
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA)
- Strong technical financial accounting skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ideal opportunity for a first move from Practice to Industry or to progress from an Industry Financial Accounting role
- Knowledge of LLP accounts and partnership taxation rules
- Experience within a controls tested environment
