With offices in Milan, Melbourne, Munich, London and New York, Silverbullet Data Services are seeking a Finance Manager on a full-time, permanent basis.
 

Finance Manager role preview:

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for a number of tasks including maintaining an up-to-date accounts system, month end journals and bank reconciliations, as well as assisting the wider finance team with a multitude of ad-hoc tasks.

The role will be mainly hybrid; however, there will be a requirement to travel to London from time to time.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

• General Bookkeeping;
• Preparing accounts up to trial balance;
• Reconciling control accounts;
• Processing sales and purchase invoices;
• Preparing payroll journals;
• Submitting quarterly VAT returns;
• Production and review of the monthly management accounts and preparation of monthly reports and variance analyses;
• Attend monthly management accounts review meetings with the Head of Finance and Group Head of Finance;
• Oversee the production and review of all month-end reconciliations
• Preparing manual journals (prepayments, accruals, accrued income, deferred income)
   

What you will need to be successful for this Finance Manager:

• Part or fully qualified ACCA/CIMA and/or at least AAT Level 3;
• A good working knowledge of Xero;
• Bookkeeping skills;
• Experience of working with accrued and deferred income and reviewing month-end reconciliations;
• At least 12 months experience in a similar role (Experience in Professional Services, media, or the technology/software industry would be an advantage)
• An eye for detail and be driven to meet deadlines.
