Axon Moore has partnered with a recently private equity backed SME in Blackburn to source an ambitious candidate for their newly created Financial Controller position.
This business is growing quickly amid an expanding market and subsequently have an ever-increasing demand for their services. They have done well from the pandemic and have successfully pre-empted their competitive foot-hold in the market by investing heavily into their supply-chain with new assets as well as upgrading their back office function with a new ERP and CRM system.
The new Financial Controller will enter the business at this opportune moment in time to take the development to the next level. They will play an influential role in shaping the finance function and will have an impact on the business quickly.
The role will end-to-end in its remit, so it’ll require a talented accountant who is equally technically strong as they are commercially astute. They’ll need to possess the people skills to lead a growing finance team as well as having an impact with key non-finance stakeholders.
This will be a varied role as per the nature of the business as it expands, and so they seek to hire a qualified (ACA / CIMA / ACCA) candidate who is pro-active and can show initiative in the development of themselves and those around them.
The salary range will suit a 2nd or 3rd time mover post qualification and will reflect the experience of the candidate.
