The Role

Reporting to the FP&A Director you’ll be helping to build out this critical new function to ensure the ongoing health of the business. To start with, the role will focus on developing world-class, best in industry budgeting, forecasting and MI reporting processes (particularly of KPIs) with the scope to grow remit as the business and function evolves and scales.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • To partner closely with data and business teams to enhance reporting capabilities and new data sources.
  • To play a key role in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes. With each cycle more detail, increased functionality and further automation will be required.
  • To work alongside the FC to produce monthly management accounts ensuring completeness and brand and support allocations are robust.
  • Responsible for monthly reporting sourcing, production and commentary such as the MI Pack, T&E reporting and other KPI reporting, automating the process and continuously improving the analysis and reporting each time
  • Weekly sales forecasting and KPI reporting
  • Ad-hoc work at the request of finance leadership and needs of the company such as providing financial and commercial support to key stakeholders

 

Background and Experience

  • CIMA qualified or equivalent
  • Working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, comfortable working with ambiguity
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Creating, automating, and continuously improving processes
  • Proven system proficiency: can quickly and confidently master and leverage a multitude of disparate data sources and tools to create quality summaries/reports
  • Experience in and comfort with manipulating and cleansing large data sets
  • Managing and collaborating with both financial and non-financial stakeholders

  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint presentations skills and general systems proficiency
  • Highly deadline-driven with no compromise on maintaining acute attention to detail
  • A pro-active and ‘can-do’ nature to continuously improve processes and effectiveness of deliverables
  • A quick learner, demonstrating initiative and resourcefulness to problem-solving
  • Analytical with an inquisitive mindset
  • A team player and willing to take on ad hoc duties.
  • Ability to work with large data sets and develop exhaustive financial models getting into the details, but also being able to interpret and communicate the bigger picture
  • Excellent time management, prioritisation and organisational skills
  • Adaptable, flexible and comfortable working in uncertainty and ambiguity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently build and maintain a collaborative relationship with all levels of the organisation

  • Experience in industry/working in social, digital, video or OTT/CTV
  • Proficiency with Google Suite
