Senior Internal Auditor

Marks Sattin is currently recruiting for a Senior Internal Auditor who is able to help establish and grow the internal Audit offering with a business who invested heavily in startegic growth.

This client has invested and developed the risk profile across the organisation with wider education around the benefits the function can deliver. Culturally, the business has always had a positive attitude to ensuring effective controls are in place as well as the understanding why such controls are fundamental to the future growth.

With new investment into the office, you will be joining a forward thinking business with brand new facilities to match the ambition and growth that is projected next year.

In the role, you will be responsible for:

• Scoping, delivering and reviewing controls across the business - this is with more of an operational approach to ensure efficiencies are implemented and waste minimised.
• Help define the audit plan with the Head of the function - horizon scanning the future challenges the business faces.
• Help to deliver training on Risk Management to the senior management team.

Ideally you will be looking for your first step into industry where you have been working in an accountancy firm or alternatively, you will be working in an Internal Audit role working in a 3rd line risk function. You will bring with you an audit qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, IIA) and embrace hybrid working as the client is ideally envisaging one maybe two days on site, the rest working from home.
