Finance Manager

Looking for Finance Manager to produce the statutory accounts, support on year end and manage 2 individuals.

Client Details

The client is a large national charity that supports vulnerable people through the UK, suffering from physical illness. As well as offering support to its members, the charity raise funds to drive scientific research aimed at curing this disease. They do incredible work and have been going through an exciting period of growth in recent years.

Description

• Assist the preparation of year-end financial reporting
• Ensure stat accounts are fully compliant with SORP, and other legal/ accounting requirements
• Reconciliations
• Liaise with auditors, ensuring they have all information required
• Analyse and present breakdowns of expenditure and income
• Maintain chart of accounts
• Line manage 2 assistants accountants, supporting their development
• Lead on all tax matters

Profile

Essential

• Qualified Accountant
• Exposure of SORP
• Previously managed at least 1 individual
• Hands on accountant that enjoys rolling up their sleeves and working with the wider team
• Held a financial accounting role where you have assisted on year-end

• Up to £55,000 salary
