Management Accountant

We have partnered with a London based museum on a strategic Management Accounting position. Aside from being responsible for month-end, you will apply your analytical and excel skills to create robust financial models for your directorate. Your goal will be to help your directorates achieve their strategic aims.

Client Details

Our client is a museum based in Greater West London. The organisation have recently gone through a restructure and have created this new role in the Business Partnering team. As well as being a not-for-profit organisation, this client has a few commercial entities, which are helping to drive profit and encouraging more diverse thought throughout the company

Description

• Develop effective business partnering relationships
• Manage 1 assistant Management Accountant, who will support you in the production of the management accounts. Review their work and assist their development
• Promote a culture of customer-focused service
• Enable your stakeholder to realise its strategic and operational plans in a financially sustainable manner
• Evaluate potential business/investment opportunities
• Provide timely, relevant and insightful analysis and commentary
• Pro-actively and professionally challenging areas of responsibility on budget and forecast submissions
• Development of quarterly forecasts and variance analysis against the budget
• Develop and maintain profitability analysis for commercial revenue streams

Profile

Essential

• Qualified accountant (ICAEW, ACA, ACCA, CIPFA, CIMA,)
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong excel skills
• Excellent relationship building

Job Offer

• Up to £55,000 per annum
• 30 days annual leave
• Flexible working. You will be asked to go into the office 3 days a week
