Finance Manager - Further Education

We are delighted to be working with a leading Essex-based FE College in recruiting to an Interim Finance Manager position. Reporting into the Director of Finance, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working at a similar level within Further Education and will be familiar with all reporting standards and guidelines.

The initial duration is for 3-6 months with scope for extension and renewal depending on progress, You will leave a small team of 6 and guide them through the pending budget setting period. You will also lead the preparation for year-end and audit and it is essential that you have led a similar process in Further Education previously. You will be CCAB Qualified and have strong technical and communication skills.

This role is pivotal for the college and there is potential for an immediate start. The College operates a hybrid working policy but due to the nature and requirements of the role, you will need to attend the college 2-3 days per week. An excellent interim opportunity.
