Senior Accountant

Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a well established and successful Manufacturing Business in Gainsborough as they look to bring in a key and important hire for the Finance Team. The role of Senior Accountant will be to manage the financials on site, oversee a small team and be the link between finance and the other operational departments as a strong finance business partner.

You will closely with the Group Financial Controller and will have autonomy to produce accurate reports and analysis for senior management, lead and empower the team to deliver on expectations as well as consistently review and improve current systems and procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities will include:

*Prepare Monthly Management Accounts
*Managing the finance team (setting targets, reviewing performance, developing staff, 121's and appraisals)
*Budgeting and Forecasting
*Sales and profitability reporting
*Monitoring of department KPI's
*Making recommendations, supporting and aiding strategic business decisions
*Business Partnering with both internal and external stakeholders
*Stock management and reporting
*Continual review of business processes and systems

To be considered for this role you MUST have the following:

*CIMA, ACCA OR ACA qualified with 3+ years in Management Accounts
*Competent Excel user
*Strong leadership/ people management skills
*Strong communication skills
*Good technical accounting knowledge
*Ability to prioritise workloads
