Head of Finance (Change) being hired for desired Telecoms business!
London or Reading based - will include travel to London
£100,000 - £120,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits
Stanton House is partnering with a household brand in the Telecoms industry to support the growth of their high calibre Finance team. The company has started an ambitious digitisation programme, changing the way business is done while at the same time changing underlying technology. This role plays a key part in the delivery of this change programme and will lead a Finance team to turn insight into action with appropriate capital allocation and value realisation tracking, as they transform into a digital first organisation. You will business partner the EC and Director levels to influence the decision-making process. This role has extensive exposure to the Finance Director, Chief Operating Officer & Chief Digital Officer.
To successfully deliver in the profile position, you will need to have:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with significant post qualification experience in a fast paced, consumer focused business
- Recent experience of supporting digital transformation projects
- End to end ownership, accountability and management of a divisional P&L
- Business partnered the launch of a new, challenger product into a market
- Capability to work efficiently and creatively in a fast-moving environment
- Previous leadership and team management experience
- Clear evidence of strong career progression
A little more information about the role:
- Lead a high performing team, empowering the team to learn, grow and deliver value. The team will take ownership, communicate, and collaborate well with all stakeholders.
- Capital Allocation; Be and lead a team of finance business partners that influence and challenge the allocation of funds / resources across the project portfolio, whilst ensuring maximum benefits are realised.
- Supporting the Investment Committee process for approvals and value realisation tracking.
- Own the long term plan, budget and monthly re-forecasts process across the area, feeding into the Converged FP&A process with clear outputs that articulate principal drivers & assumptions.
- Manage month end delivery, across Opex, Capex, ensuring financial integrity, compliance and control of the balance sheet.
- Effectively communicate to the Head of FP&A, Converged FD and Group Finance key actual performance using simple, standardised key driver analysis
- Provide and turn insight into action, to drive change in behaviours to ensure long term growth.
