Financial Accountant - 1st time mover opportunity

My client is looking to hire a Practice trained Accountant who is looking for their first Industry move to help develop their reporting team. The initial focus on the role will be to help transition their outsourced reporting function to an 'in-house' model, whilst helping to establish month-end time lines, reporting processes and also getting involved in acquisition accounting.

My client are a circa £200 million turnover owner managed business who are about to embark on a period of rapid growth. With potential investment and a number of acquisitions in the pipeline, this is a very exciting time for the business and would be a great opportunity for some to join at the early stages of this scale-up.

Description

• Working with the Finance Director and Financial Controller to transition their reporting function in-house
• Establishing month-end time frames
• Helping to streamline and improve processes
• Preparation of reconciliations
• Acquisition accounting
• Ad-hoc project work

Profile

• You will be ACA/ACCA qualified and ideally making your first move from Practice to Industry
• Big 4 or mid-tier practice trained.
• Attention to detail
• Enthuasiam to help a growing business scale
• Strong Excel skills

Job Offer

The role will pay £40,000 to £45,000 and will also offer a bonus.
