Group Financial Reporting Manager
Based: Blackburn area
Salary: highly dependent on experience, bonus, benefits and great business
Our client are a leading retailer with a strong brand spanning throughout the UK and globally. Due to continuous growth and future acquisition plans, we are looking for a strong Financial Reporting Manager to join the team working in the UK business and finance team

Role:
- Key role in Groups internal and external financial reporting activities
- Responsible for day to day accounting and reporting of group holding companies
- Producing monthly group consolidation and management accounts pack for the board
- Analysis and interpretation of financial and business data to ensure accuracy
- Assisting with year end group consolidation and production of consolidated annual report under IFRS up to listed company standard
- Ad hoc financial reporting projects across the group
- Developing strong working relationships with group finance and divisional teams
- Pro-active in reviewing current practice, resolving issues and implementing new processes and procedures to improve efficiencies and financial controls
Experience:
- ACA, ACCA practice trained with industry experience
- Experience of working on complex audits OR proven process improvement exposure
- Strong forecasting and budgeting exposure
- Group consolidation experience essential
- Advanced Excel skills
- Logical and tenancious approach, able to adapt quickly and efficicently to changing situations
- Commercial awareness and strong business acumen essential
