Elevation Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a fantastic not for profit organization in the Bradford area to recruit an Interim Management Accountant. This is an immediate requirement to cover a period of maternity leave, on an 8-month contract! You will be required to attend the Bradford office regularly, however hybrid working arrangements are available for the successful candidate.
As an Interim Management Accountant, you will have a varied role, in addition to supporting the Group Financial Controller and CFO in generating statutory information, preparation of budgets and forecasts and Management Accounts, you will also provide cover for other members of the team and provide commercial insight to develop new business opportunities.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
* Preparation of the Management Accounts and all process and controls for statutory entities
* Generating and monitoring the KPI process
* Dealing with ad hoc analysis and variance reports
* Reviewing statutory returns such as VAT/ Payroll
* Attending and ultimately leading legal review meetings
* Budget preparation, forecasting and cash flows
* Assist with developing the controls culture
* Support in the preparation of year end accounts for a group of 5 companies
Skills & Experience Required:
* Experienced Accountant - Ideally ACA, ACCA or Qualified by Experience
* At least 2 years' experience working in an accounting team responsible for the generation of accounts or other Management information in a fast paced, varied industry
* Pensions & Legal Knowledge
* Knowledge of IRIS Accounts Software would be advantageous
