Our client a high profile global service sector business has a new job opportunity for a commercially astute qualified accountant to joing their team in a newly created role as "Due Diligence and accounting solutions Manager"

Your new role

My client is looking for an experienced accounting & finance professional to join the Global Accounting & Finance Intelligence Management team. The role will involve regular communication with the Director of Finance and the Services Leadership Team to ensure the accounting for all aspects of the new leasing sales models is completed accurately and efficiently in accordance with accounting practice, transfer pricing regulation and compliance standards

  • A big part of the role is essentially accounting/finance due diligence - reviewing business contracts and identifying the technical accounting implications and addressing any risks.
  • You will be responsible for looking at both the commercial and technical accounting aspects of contracts and proposed Business models for new deals and partnering with the Business to help solution and tailor these deals to meet the customer need.



What you'll need to succeed

  • The role requires someone who has a good technical background, but can also back out of the detail to apply that technical knowledge to partner with the various stakeholders across the Business - you will liaise with individuals at all levels globally.
  • Qualified accountant. IFRS 16 and leasing experience preferred but not essential.
  • Services business experience also preferred but not essential.
  • Proactive mindset, with strong project & stakeholder management skills is critical
  • Strong commercial acumen & individuals who can readily translate complex technical accounting guidance into Business speak for non-accountants, and who can support the Business to implement pragmatic accounting solutions quickly.
  • Equally comfortable in the detail as you are liaising with the more Senior Business stakeholders.
  • Strong communicator and team player
