As a member of the group finance function, you’ll be in assisting in preparing monthly management accounts, focusing on the revenue reporting ensuring we provide the wider business timely and accurate information. Additionally, you will provide support to your assigned business partners, assisting in their understanding of their monthly accounts and working with them to produce budgets and forecasts. You will be able to commute into Central London for 2 days a week and work comfortably from home for the remaining 3 days.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Monthly Management Accounts
●Ensure reporting of system generated revenue is correct, complete, and accurate;
●Liaise with various revenue centre to ascertain and generate revenue accrual postings;
●Calculating and processing royalty for agreements within the group;
●Generate and process revenue from government-funded revenue streams;
●Monitoring revenue performance vs budget and forecast, identifying variances and trends.
Business Partnering
●Preparation of required monthly management accounts and reports;
●Provide support with understanding and interpretation of monthly management accounts and report;
●Preparation and review of the annual budget and periodic forecasts of partner center’s cost and revenues; Government Funded Business
●Understanding of government funding submission and their subsequent cashflows and reconciliations;
●Posting funding revenue into the accounting system;
●Reviewing the submissions, sense checking and posting of accruals
●Generate relating KPI and metric reports
●Management and reconciliation of employer incentive payments.
Controls and Reconciliations
●Documentation of procedures and ongoing review to ensure these remain up to date;
●Monthly balance sheet reconciliations ●Monthly SOX control testing and reporting
●Provide assistance and information arising from the year statutory audits

●Assistant Management Accountant / Management Accountant
●Revenue Accountant / Revenue Analyst
●Other finance-based reporting roles
What you’ll bring A part-qualified accountant who is a self-motivated problem solver with a keen attention to detail and the ability to create relationships at all levels of seniority and across business areas:
●Part or newly qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA);
●Excellent MS Excel skills and an interest in IT / technology;
●Strong analytical skills together with accounts and reporting knowledge;
●Excellent communicator who can create relationships at all levels and across the business;
