Finance Manager

A great new opportunity has arisen with a dynamic rapidly expanding FMCG company that is expanding into the UK Market.

Backed by a large International organisation the role will be creating and leading the UK finance function, a hand on role supporting the MD and operations team.

In addition to month end reporting Key responsibilities include

• Oversee order fulfillment and generate invoices via Netsuite for Customers and intercompany Sales
• Manage A/R by tracking aging receivables and actively following up with late-paying customers
• Manage A/P by coding Invoices and setting up timely payment approvals while maintaining vendor relationships
• Dispute chargebacks from customers, reconciling payments against promotional schedules
• Co-lead month-end close activities:  reconciling bank statements and general ledgers, post journal entries, record cash receipts/disbursements, update reconciliations and schedules, assist in inventory reconciliations and approve team expense reports
• Manage account records, review existing documents, and provide ad-hoc support to the Finance and Operations team
• Managing the movement of inventory
• Responsible for inventory levels, and managing co-pack requirements
• Managing e-commerce operations, and maintaining stock level

Ideally you will be fully/ part qualified with strong Financial Acumen and experience gained within the FMCG sector. Bringing an understanding of invoice discounting within major multiple’s. With a hands on approach you will be comfortable completing the ledgers whilst also confident to complete Month end closing.
