We currently have an exciting opportunity for an FP&A Assistant Management Accountant to be based at our European Finance Centre (EFC) in Bradford.

Reporting to the FP&A Accounting Team Lead, this role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate management accounts, alongside working with the business to provide information and analysis, which will enable the successful candidate to work towards a professional qualification (CIMA/ACCA), whilst developing their management accounting experience.

What you’ll deliver day-to-day:

+ Preparation of monthly management accounts.
+ Analysis of key opex and transport spend.
+ Forecasting and budgeting – monthly, quarterly and annually.
+ Working closely with business partners and EFC to provide information and analysis to help control costs as well as supporting and influencing decision-making.
+ Creation and development of various weekly and monthly management information and reporting.
+ Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, journals and controlling general accruals and prepayments.

About You:

You should have experience of working in a finance role, but entry level will be considered. You will have either started, or be looking to start your professional accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA) and the role will include study support.

You must be self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to collaborate with other members of the team. You must have strong communication skills and be able to translate financial information to non-finance staff.
